Cooperation with Julia<\/h2><\/div><\/div>Julia Seyfarth sews vintage-style dresses based on original patterns from the 30s to the 50s<\/a>. Until now, I was oriented towards monochrome colours, but now I could expand my collection because Julia’s dresses come with great patterns and in bright colours. Julia told me about a shoot with her dresses, but the matching hats were missing. Brush and paint<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\nWe’re moving into Noel’s Ballroom<\/h2><\/div><\/div>I was able to organise the Leipzig Irish pub “Noel’s Ballroom” as the location<\/a> for the vintageshoot and Julia was able to win over the photographer Karsten Fuchs<\/a>. Karsten came all the way from Weimar with a lot of equipment so that we could start early at 8:00 am. He carefully set up the first set at the speed of light. Meanwhile, I set up the catering (noodle salad and coffee, very important!) and make-up. Then came the enchanting models Maria (KSModels agency<\/a>) and Victoria (Vintagem\u00e4dchen by Victoria<\/a>). With them we hit the jackpot for our shoot. Victoria presents a dark red dress with my specially made felt button fascinator.<\/a> For this I melted petals again, which I cut from a friend’s discarded chiffon blouse. Karsten set up everything again in no time but with utmost precision and we outfitted the models in green and red. Victoria wore a beautiful green dress with an incredible floral pattern. From the same fabric I made a drop-shaped fascinator with a vintage button and a bow made of hat tulle. Maria is wearing a bright red dress with a polka dot collar, which my chapeau made from a cockade<\/a> (8 metres of rep ribbon!) matches perfectly. Both ladies are clearly having fun in their outfits!
